  • Retreat Overview

The Survivorship Collective provides programming and wrap-around support for retreats that work with licensed professionals who incorporate:

    Nature Therapy

    Breathwork & Meditation

    Narrative Medicine

    Psilocybin-assisted therapy (only in Oregon)

Each retreat is specially designed with the cancer community in mind with 4 Phases:

    1. Screening & Preparation

    2. In-Person Retreat

    3. Integration

    4. Community Support

  • Phase 1

Screening and Preparation. This phase includes mandatory private sessions and longer group sessions facilitated by a mental health professional. It’s a time of reflection, awareness, and community-building.

For retreats integrating psilocybin, participants are screened by medical and mental health professionals.

  • Phase 2

Retreat. (In Person). The cohort will participate in a private, five-day, four-night retreat with food and lodging included. An experience designed by and for cancer survivors, each cohort will have the support of service centers, retreat facilitators, doctors, mental health professionals, and indigenous wisdom carriers. Individuals will engage in activities to help them connect to nature, the other program participants, and themselves.

  • Phase 3

Integration. Integration is the work of slowly making sense of the retreat experience and understanding how the lessons apply to everyday life. Although integration never truly stops, the first four weeks are a critical period. Participants will have three, one-hour, private sessions and four longer group sessions to set the stage for their ongoing integration process.

  • Phase 4

Community. After integration, survivors move into the community phases where they meet 1-2 times a month virtually or in person for discussion, breath work, meditation and community.
