Federal and State Law

Psilocybin remains a Schedule I controlled substance under United States federal law. Outside of approved research settings or specific state regulatory frameworks, the manufacture, possession, distribution, and use of psilocybin are illegal under federal law. While certain states, including Oregon and Colorado, have established lawful pathways for regulated psilocybin services, federal law does not currently recognize these services as legal.

Survivorship Collective Charity operates in alignment with applicable state laws and regulations where programming is offered. However, participation in state-regulated psilocybin services may still carry legal risk under federal law. By engaging with our programming, participants acknowledge and accept this legal landscape.

No Sale, Distribution, or Administration of Psilocybin

Survivorship Collective Charity does not sell, cultivate, manufacture, distribute, supply, or administer psilocybin or any other controlled substances. We do not provide medical treatment or therapy.

Psilocybin services, when accessed, are provided exclusively through independently licensed facilitators and state-approved healing centers operating in compliance with applicable state laws and regulatory requirements. These services include required phases such as screening, preparation, administration, and integration, and are governed by the policies and professional responsibilities of those licensed providers.

Scope of Services

Survivorship Collective Charity provides non-medical, non-clinical support services, which may include education, harm reduction information, safety screening coordination, housing, meals, peer support, integration programming, and community-based retreat logistics. Medical evaluations and psychological screenings are conducted separately by licensed medical or mental health professionals and are subject to their own standards, policies, and confidentiality obligations, including HIPAA compliance where applicable.

No Medical, Psychological, or Legal Advice

Information provided by Survivorship Collective Charity through retreats, coaching, educational materials, written content, or online platforms is for informational and supportive purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, psychological treatment, psychotherapy, legal advice, or a diagnosis of any kind.

Participants are solely responsible for consulting with qualified healthcare providers, mental health professionals, and legal advisors regarding their individual circumstances, including potential risks, contraindications, and legal considerations.

Risks, Uncertainty, and Voluntary Participation

Participation in retreats and related programming is entirely voluntary. Psychedelic experiences can be emotionally, psychologically, and physically challenging, and outcomes are inherently unpredictable. No specific results, benefits, or therapeutic outcomes are promised or implied.

By choosing to participate, individuals acknowledge that experiences may involve emotional difficulty, psychological distress, or other unforeseen effects, and that personal responses vary widely.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Survivorship Collective Charity disclaims any liability for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from participation in our programming or from the use or interpretation of information we provide. Responsibility for personal choices, health decisions, and legal compliance remains solely with the participant.

No Promotion of Illegal Activity

Survivorship Collective Charity does not encourage, promote, or endorse the illegal use of psychedelics or any other controlled substances. Our mission is rooted in safety, transparency, harm reduction, and regulatory compliance within existing legal frameworks.
