7 Week Program Overview
6 weeks online
5 days in person
The Survivorship Collective provides programming and wrap-around support for retreats that work with licensed professionals who incorporate:
Nature Therapy
Breathwork & Meditation
Narrative Medicine
Psilocybin ceremony (only in Oregon)
Each retreat is specially designed with the cancer community in mind with 4 Phases:
1. Screening & Preparation
2. In-Person Retreat
3. Integration
4. Community Support
-
Phase 1
Screening and Preparation. (Online) This phase includes mandatory private sessions and longer group sessions facilitated by a mental health professional. It’s a time of reflection, awareness, and community-building.
For retreats integrating psilocybin, participants are screened by medical and mental health professionals.
-
Phase 2
Retreat. (In Person). The cohort will participate in a private, five-day, four-night retreat with food and lodging included. An experience designed by and for cancer survivors, each cohort will have the support of service centers, retreat facilitators, doctors, mental health professionals, and indigenous wisdom carriers. Individuals will engage in activities to help them connect to nature, the other program participants, and themselves.
-
Phase 3
Integration. (Online) Integration is the work of slowly making sense of the retreat experience and understanding how the lessons apply to everyday life. Although integration never truly stops, the first four weeks are a critical period. Participants will have three, one-hour, private sessions and four longer group sessions to set the stage for their ongoing integration process.

Values and Philosophy
At the Survivorship Collective our goal is to create the conditions for healing and harm reduction. We organize retreats and integration programming. We do not provide medical treatment or therapy, or sell, supply, or administer psilocybin. Our role includes education, harm reduction, housing, meals, peer support, and integration programming.
Safety First: Every participant is carefully screened by medical professionals, provided an individual safety plan, and supported by licensed facilitators.
7-Week Program: Our healing arc includes 3 weeks of preparation, a 5-day immersive retreat and 3 weeks of integration, ensuring long-term support. Afterwards, participants are invited to join our monthly ongoing integration circles.
Indigenous Wisdom & Ritual: Rather, we honor the deep lineages of sacred medicine work and partner with respected wisdom keepers who are also state-regulated facilitators to help root the experience in reverence and care.
Psychedelic Therapy: We do not provide services directly and participation is voluntary. Participants may opt in if they choose and pay for services directly to the provider.
Community Healing: Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We bring survivors together in small, intimate affinity groups where community becomes medicine.
Trauma-Informed Approach: Our entire model is built around consent, pacing, and emotional safety. No one is pushed. Every step is invitational.
This is a space for survivors and thrivers to explore meaning, connection, and healing in ways that are ethical, state-regulated, and grounded in tradition.
