Important Information for Participants

The Survivorship Collective is committed to transparency, safety, and informed participation. The information below is intended to help you understand the nature of our programs and make an informed choice about whether participation feels right for you at this time.

Nature of the Experience

Participation in Survivorship Collective programs, including retreats and integration programming, can be emotionally and psychologically demanding. Participants may encounter difficult emotions, memories, or physical sensations. Grief, fear, sadness, anxiety, and uncertainty are common and normal experiences, particularly for individuals living with serious illness.

While many people find aspects of the experience meaningful or supportive, participation is not easy work and may feel uncomfortable or challenging at times.

Unpredictability of Experience

Experiences during retreats and any related psilocybin-supported services are inherently unpredictable. Each person’s experience is unique and may vary from expectations, intentions, or past experiences.

There is no guaranteed outcome, insight, or emotional resolution. Some participants may experience clarity or relief, while others may experience confusion, emotional intensity, or a sense of uncertainty that continues beyond the retreat.

No Promise of Transformation

Survivorship Collective does not promise healing, transformation, insight, or personal change. Growth or meaning-making is not inevitable, and experiences should not be viewed as a cure, treatment, or solution.

Any sense of meaning or change that arises is personal, subjective, and may unfold gradually, unevenly, or not at all. Integration and reflection may take time, and some experiences may raise new questions rather than provide answers.

Medical and Therapeutic Scope

Survivorship Collective organizes retreats and integration programming. Psilocybin services, when applicable, are provided separately through licensed facilitators or state-approved healing centers.

Survivorship Collective does not provide medical treatment or therapy and does not sell, supply, or administer psilocybin. Medical screenings are conducted independently by licensed medical professionals and are HIPAA compliant.

Choice and Autonomy

Participation is voluntary. You may pause, stop, or choose not to participate in any aspect of the program at any time. We encourage you to listen closely to your own needs and limits and to ask questions whenever something feels unclear.

Our role is to support informed choice, safety, and care, not to direct outcomes.

Questions and Support

If you have questions or concerns about whether participation is right for you, we encourage you to speak with your medical provider, therapist, or a trusted support person, and to reach out to us directly for clarification.
